 | Firstly, great article Paul. Your writing has come on quite notably since your last article (some time ago!).
I found myself nodding my head frequently whilst reading it. I think the phrase 'last chance saloon' is rather apt.
It's a big, big chance to really bring C&C back up to scratch. I hope to God EA don't mess it up.
I particularly agreed with your suggestions in terms of the plot. More of a 'story' is needed. |

 | I should hope it has, now that I'm on an English degree!
I just hope someone from EA reads it and at least gives it a little thought. |

 | I too must commend Paul on his ever increasing writing abilities. Looking back over our own massive collection of articles, you can clearly see each individual developing. I find myself cringing at my past work; I'm sure we all do at some stage.
Anyway, "Last chance saloon" is exactly what Red Alert 3 is - Bloody good article mate. |

 | Aye its a good article mate, well done.
I can't help but feels its only a partial last chance though. C&C will always sell even if they have no support n mediocre(sp?)gameplay, the masses will buy it. I feel its more for the community and proper fans(not die-hard just ones that play it alot and online) that this is the last chance as we have reached our limits. The rather worrying thing is C&C hasnt seemed to give a toss about the community or any of the fans after they have paid their £30 for the game. |

 | I think that was a very good article. I agree, a rushed relese of RA3 would definately b something 2 worry about. |

 | EA sux they dont care about their games. Once a new game comes out they switch to supporting that game like a fad. Westwood was alot better they actually put work and effort in thier games. Anyway, it would be cool if they had a game that was an fps and rts at the same time like battlezone. I'm trrying too make a game but its very hard. I cant think of anything elese to say. |

Renegade had hardly any more strategy involved than other FPS games.

 | Erik actually wrote an article discussing that very matter.
