Commentary
Very tough battle, coming on only my second game back. Things did not start out well, due to my not knowing that DEFCON was now a qm map, so I had no idea what I was doing.

Both of us managed to scout the bulk of each others bases, though I didn't do a very good job scouting the flanks, which would come into play soon. The first few minutes though, had little excitement other than my snagging two tanks with a drone.

About 6 or so minutes into the game, he tries to flank me, sending three tanks up the left and four up the right. The 3 on the left catch my miners, destroying half of them, while I try a fullscale assault to exploit their absence. I make drive his forces back at his base and take out his construction yard before his retreating splits and desolators push me back.

I soon fall behind on tanks, so I sell a couple refineries and one of my three war factories to get some cash and try to catch up. We both make some maneuvers in the middle, though his desos and about equal tanks stop anything major. I continually try using tds on them, but to little effect.

Soon I'm able to make some moves to get a tanks v tanks battle, and force him back. Eventually I'm able to catch a couple of his miners in the middle, setting his economy back. Then my terror drones successfully deal with his desolators allowing my now superior tank numbers to beat his, even with his fodder. A very well played game.
